  2. 1/2 cup Quaker Oats finely powdered
  3. 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour
  4. to taste Salt
  5. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  6. 1/4 cup butter
  7. 1/4 cup Milk
  8. 1/2 packet Quaker oats homestyle masala
  9. 1 tbsp oil
  10. as needed whole wheat flour (for dusting)

  12. 2 tsp Garlic finely chopped
  13. 1 Onion thinly sliced
  14. 1 tsp soya sauce
  15. to taste salt
  16. 1 tsp red chili powder
  17. 1/2 packet Quaker oats tangy tomato masala
  18. 1/2 cup paneer crumbled
  19. 1 tomato horizontally
  20. 1/4 cup capsicum sliced
  21. 4 tbsp corn kernels
  22. 2 tbsp melted butter for brushing

Steps to make to make Oats Paneer and Corn Galette

  1. To make the crust, grind Quaker Oats in a mixer jar. Transfer the oats flour to a bowl, add whole wheat flour, salt and pepper. Add butter and continue to mix until it resembles fine sand. Add quaker oats homestyle masala, add milk gradually and continue to knead until you have a smooth dough. Apply some oil, wrap in cling film, and refrigerate.
  2. To make the filling, pour oil in a pan. Fry the chopped garlic for a few seconds. Add onions and cook until they are caramelised and soft. Add soya sauce and salt. Cook for another minute. Add half of the capsicums and then add paneer. Add red chilli powder and quaker oats tangy tomato masala. The filling is ready.
  3. Dust some whole wheat flour on a surface and divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Roll out the dough into a circle about a 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle half the filling over the base of the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges. Top with the remaining capsicum slices, tomato slices and corn kernels. Sprinkle remaining paneer on top and season with pepper. Gently fold the edges over the filling but keep the centre exposed.
  4. Take a pastry brush and lightly brush the pastry with some melted butter. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes. Bake the galette at 180° Celsius until the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden brown, for about 15-20 minutes. Slice the galette into 4 equal portions and serve hot.
