- 200 grams cubed cottage cheese
- 1 pinch kitchen king masala

- 1 pinch red chilli powder
- 1 pinch kasuri methi
- 1 pinch garam masala powder
Instructions to make to make Balti paneer
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a kadai
- Add red chillies, sliced ginger, garlic, cashews and saute for a few seconds.
- Add carrots, cabbage and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium flame
- Add onions and saute until golden brown, allow it to cool
- Transfer this mixture to a mixture jar and grind into a smooth paste
- Heat 2 tbsp oil and ghee in a kadai
- Add cardamoms, prepared paste and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium flame
- Pour tomato puree and cook until oil separates
- Add salt, red chilli powder, kitchen king masala, coriander powder and kasuri methi, mix well
- Add sugar, cream and mix well
- Pour water as required and simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Gravy is ready, take off heat and keep aside
- In a pan heat 1 tsp oil
- Add paneer, salt, kitchn king masala, red chilli powder, kasuri methi, garam masala powder and saute for a minute
- Reheat the gravy, add fried paneer and some water
- Cook for 1-2 minutes on low flame
- Balti paneer is ready, serve hot
